About Me
Just the Important Things
My name is Hannah, I am a midwest transplant currently residing in New York City where I work for the New York Public Library. I am currently a Bookmobile Librarian serving the Bronx Community with the New York Public Library. I love being apart of non-traditional library services that help put more people in touch with the Library and all of our resources. Why are libraries important?
I think everyone deserves a safe place to learn and grow in their community and public libraries are vital to fulfilling that need.
Libraries have always played an important role in my life. I spent a lot of time at the public and school library growing up. These were my favorite places to spend my free-time. I want to give a shout out to my high school librarian Ms. B, without her I am pretty sure I wouldn't have ended up where I am today.
What is your favorite book?
It's hard for me to pick a single favorite book, but I am of the Harry Potter generation and that entire series will always hold a special place in my heart. Book #4, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, is my favorite in the series. Hooway for Wodney Wat by Helen Lester is my go to picture book for a fun storytime!
